Charms Insurance

Charm collecting has been popular for centuries and for lovers of jewellery it represents not only the pleasure of being able to wear your charms, but the ability to add to the collection over a period of time as charms become available.

Charm bracelets often become a talking point amongst families and friends with the owner usually choosing to focus on one particular type of theme such as; designer, material, type of animal or even brand such as Pandora. For this reason, charms make excellent gifts and presents with the owner being particularly pleased to receive a charm that fits in with their chosen theme.

Over a period of time, a charm bracelet can become quite valuable with some owners acquiring so many that they cannot all be worn at the same time. Usually up to two dozen charms can be fitted on a single bracelet, sometimes more depending on the size and shape of the charms.

At Assetsure, we have a policy that has been specially designed to insure charms and charm bracelets, it will also cover other items of jewellery if you so require.

Unlike home insurance, we are quite happy to quote insurance for single items, and we won’t insist you insure the rest of your home contents with us. Our policy is thus ideal if you are only looking to cover a small number of valuable items.

Often a collection of charms falls outside the monetary limits of a standard home insurance policy and if you have a collection that exceeds your insurers limits,, we should be able to assist you with insurance.

We are based in the UK and policies are designed for persons that are normally resident in the United Kingdom, the basis of cover is worldwide all risks insurance, which covers: loss, damage and theft with no restrictions on how long you can be abroad. ( Maximum sixty days any one trip)

Small items are easily lost

A charm bracelet can contain up to two dozen charms, sometimes more and there is always the possibility that one or more will be lost. The policy we arrange, will cover you against loss of charms and if you do need to make a claim, there is no excess to pay. The insurance will pay for the loss of a complete bracelet or individual items.

Unfortunately charm bracelets get stolen, we make sure you are covered if the worst happens.

Whilst wearing your items, you are covered if someone steals them from you, for example in a street robbery. You are also covered if someone steals them from your home or another place where you are temporarily staying. Please refer to the policy wording for full details of how your items are covered.

Charm Bracelets are more susceptible to accidental damage than many other types of jewelley and can easily be damaged whilst being worn. With a policy arranged by Assetsure, you will be covered against accidental damage to the bracelet and any of the individual charms. There will be no excess to pay in the event of a claim.

We insure charm brackets anywhere in the world, providing you are normally a resident of the United Kingdom. We have no country restrictions and there is no need to tell us of your travel plans. You can travel as often as you like providing no one trip is over 60 days in duration.

We are so confident in the product we supply that we have arranged with the insurers to allow you 30 days to change your mind and request a full refund, this is rather than the generic 14 days given by most. Even if after the 30 days is up, you decide our policy is not for you, we will refund you all of the insurance you haven't used with no deductions from the return of premium.

We will not charge you any additional admin fees to make amendments to your policy or to cancel. We won't use enticing introductory offers to draw you in as we believe the price should be good from the start.

We are so confident in the policy we arrange, that you will be entitled to a full 30 days to change your mind and obtain a full refund. This is an improvement on the 14 days which is normal. Even if after the 30 days is up, you decide the cover is not for you, we will arrange for your policy to be cancelled and a full pro rata return of premium to be provided (Subject to no claim being made).
